Peanut and I stayed up late together last night.
We watched the solstice lunar eclipse together. I made sure Peanut was paying attention by listening to that sweet little heart beating away at now 160 bpm. Anyhow, I found an awesome video of the eclipse and thought I'd share it here for those of you who might have missed it, and because it's something Peanut and I did together. Granted, we do *everything* together right now :P.

11 weeks!
Another week down, another milestone marked. Every week Peanut gets bigger, stronger and closer to joining our lives. Here is what FertilityFriend has to say about Peanut this week.
Your Baby This Coming Week The end of the twelfth week of pregnancy marks the end of the first trimester. Your baby is now almost 2.5 inches long (6.1cm) when measured from crown to rump, and weighs between 0.3 and 0.5 ounces (9 to 13g).Your baby's fingers and toes have separated and are getting longer. Your baby can open and close its mouth and drinks amniotic fluid which it passes out as urine. Its head is becoming more rounded, though it is still large in proportion to its body. It has eyelids. You can now hear your baby's heartbeat with a Doppler Ultrasound device!Your baby continues to grow rapidly and has doubled in size in the last three weeks alone. The face is beginning to look more human, and all body structures are present with a few refinements still in progress. Fingernails and toenails begin to develop this week.Your baby's muscles are sufficiently developed to allow for involuntary movements at this time. The messages which control your baby's movements are sent from the spine, rather than the brain, which is not yet sufficiently developed.

Peanut plays hide and seeks!
So of course every few days I listen for the reassuring sounds that my little Peanut is thriving in there... but today Peanut thought it would be fun to play hide and go seek with mommy. I chased this little one all over my belly to try to get even one decent recording lol!

Peanut's first movie (sort of)
I used the most recent ultrasound pics and heart tones from the doppler to make a little video for Peanut.
I hope this isn't as choppy for people with better connections. :/
Latest ultrasound pics and Peri visit results.
My OB wanted me to see the peri for a few reasons. I am on a class D med, that I can't stop taking. All docs freak when we review my meds because of my Klonopin... however, the genetic counselor AND the peri said not to worry about it. That the studies on the meds are old, not controlled and outdated. If anything the more recent studies conflict with the original data making for the meds to be much safer.
Second I had a LEEP in 2000, but again that isn't a worry as my cervix is 3.83 cm long.
Third I am predisposed to preterm labor, but they said at this point they'd rather watch and see as needed than take the risk of preforming the cerclage in advance.
Anyhow, here are the pics of baby from today. My little peanut was stretching and bouncing and waving it's little arms and legs. It was a wonderful ultrasound and appointment all around.

10 weeks!
I am so happy I could dance! I can't believe I've survived knowing I'm pregnant since October 25th! You're just not supposed to know that soon I tell you.
To my peanut: Mommy loves you so much! You're doing great, growing bigger and stronger every day! I can't wait to meet you in another 30 weeks. Although it'll most likely be closer to 27 weeks.
I had to tell your big sister Cheyenne that she couldn't be in the room when you're born, but she can come in right away after to meet you. She wants to be the first sibling to hold you! Can you believe it? I think we're going to have to draw straws to see which sibling gets to hold you when. You are so very, very loved. Keep growing and getting stronger. I don't even care if you are a boy or a girl, so no pressure there, just please be happy and healthy. Although I'll take you however I can get you and love you just as much no matter what!

Uhg lol
I can't believe I am posting this. But so many of the ladies on my pregnancy website think I am padding under my clothes! lol So, even though I am large and in charge, I took a bare belly photo. It'll likely be the only one, now that I have "proven" myself un-padded... at least by anything artificial.
Sorry about the jammies and such. I'm up, can't sleep and decided that I might as well prove I'm not padding my maternity wear. lol Another mom on my other pregnancy site suggested that those of us who are "showing" just have a lot of poo and water... if that was the case, I think my bum would have exploded by now. lol
