29 weeks!
As I said in the earlier post tomorrow is our amnio. I am hoping my cold doesn't stop that or cause any issues with it.
This update feels so short, but I am thinking short, is good. :)

Just for fun... another collage.
27 weeks!
It's not easy, but I've made it this far and plan to keep going! I'll find out Thursday for sure, but generally this week baby is 2.5 lbs, which means that she is half way to her goal weight! What a difference just 31 days make! From 1 lb 3 oz to 2 lb 8 oz (Give or take like I said above.) And from head to toes, she's now 15 inches long! Getting close. Hoping to make it another 8 weeks if possible, maybe even 10... we'll see how I do, but I am certainly trying!
So, here is the belly pic for the week. I have no idea if I am bigger or not... but it's here either way! <3

24 annnnd 25 weeks!
Since I wasn't able to post last week, well, I was probably able, just in a bedrest funk... this week I will post both this and last weeks belly pics so we don't have any missing! When Bella is born I am going to have her blog made into a book for her, she can't have missing pics though. :)
So, with that in mind I will post this weeks belly pic and then last weeks, as the posts do go newest to oldest... lol
Hmm, I am thinking it looks like my belly "dropped" in the past week. Could just be the shirt color difference though.
I am so tired of bedrest, which seems counter intuitive I know, but it's so very true. I am actually looking forward to my up coming appointments with docs and such. So very sad.

Preterm labor...
I almost forgot how scary and not fun this is. I haven't been able to do a whole lot that requires much typing lately because I have to be laying down at no more than a 15% incline. It's really hard to type that way. I will however compile a nice post that is a record of the days from Friday through... well through whenever I can sit up and type longer.
Bed rest of this magnitude is hard. I can only get up to use the restroom and that is it. No walks, no grabbing a drink, no getting fresh air.
I did sneak a snap of my 23 week belly pic, it's a day early but I had a good chance of getting a quick shot and I have been without contractions so I thought it'd be best to do it while I thought it was safest.
Yes my hair is in braids, blah, but with long hair, bed rest and no shower... well you know. I did get my very first sponge bath last night though... that was, different... Although the hair wash they did, was like the salon, oh it was SOOOOOO nice. ::sigh::

Holy buckets!
I can't believe it. I would have to say I am as big with Bella as I was with Emma if not bigger and I still have 9 weeks to go to get to the point I was at with Emma! I wish the angles were better, but I *think* it's fairly obvious still. Amazing...
22 weeks!
It's amazing. 22 weeks down, 14 to go, assuming we stay with the plan of having her between 36 and 37 weeks which was the original plan. Freaking out yet? Maybe a little! lol
Of course I have the weekly belly pic... and yes, I just happen to have the same shirt on today as I did Friday. Sue me. :p It's super soft and very comfortable.
So we're down to 10 days until we have the appointment with the pediatric cardiologist. I think this is going to be a rough week, especially as we get closer to the appointment time. I am hoping for the best possible news, but I am preparing for the worst. Tough to do!
Wow, looking at that belly pic, I am really getting huge. I wonder if I'll get much bigger before I have her. I found a pic of me from when I was 31 weeks pregnant with Emma... hmm. Maybe I'll have to make a side by side comparison! I wish I had been more regular about taking belly pics with Emma, but for whatever reason I just wasn't. Could be that at 20 weeks with her we found out about the chorioangioma. Ah, to have a stress free pregnancy. I forget what that's like.
Oh, and I haven't posted one of these in a while. I think it's fun to read about what she's doing in there each week, you may or may not... but here is What to Expect When You're Expecting has to say about her this week...
Awe, I have a little Bella baby doll in there. She packs one heck of a kick now though! Both Jim and Steve have now felt her kick from the outside. Further validation of, who knows what, but it makes me feel good. I can't help but think she's getting stronger and stronger with every kick and that when it comes time to address her HRHS, she'll be that much better off for it.
Okay, I am off to make that comparison picture! If it's interesting in any way, I'll probably share it.

Your Baby in Week 22 of Pregnancy This week, your baby weighs in at a whopping pound and measures nearly eight inches, about the size of a small doll. But your little doll (who now has eyebrows, eyelashes, and maybe even some hair on that little head) is a living one who can now perceive light and dark. She can also hear your voice, your heartbeat, your gurgling stomach, and the whoosh-whoosh of blood circulating through your body. And as her brain and nerve endings develop, she may reach for her face (or whatever she can reach) just to experiment with her newfound sense of touch.

21 weeks...
Okay, this last week has been by FAR the longest week yet. It crawled by. However, the good news is, I am feeling her move much more. So much that she even wakes me up at night. I am quite happy with that!
I think I look smaller this week, but I am going to attribute that to the fact that I am losing weight left and right. I went from 10 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight last Monday to 13 lbs below it on Thursday. The GD diet is to blame for the initial loss, but I think stress is playing a bigger role in the more recent loss. Even my face looks thinner to me. Of course the OB isn't worried about it at this point, she says that from 20 weeks on I should be gaining weight now. But I just don't see it happening. As long is Bella baby is growing as she should I am fine with the weight loss, even happy about it, and so far it looks like she's right on target.
As a side note, I am at about the point where I need to go but *smaller* maternity clothes. These ones, that fit fine before, are baggy and my pants fall down. >.<

20 weeks!
It's official. Even if I were to carry to 40 weeks I am half way done! I cannot wait to meet my little Peanut!
I don't know if I'm getting bigger? Maybe just pointier at this point? lol Well, no I know I am getting bigger, it just doesn't look like it so much in this pic. No stripes and a black shirt.
7.5 hours 'til ultrasound and counting!

19 weeks
Officially over half way done, no matter if Peanut is born at 36 or 37 weeks. I can't believe it, then again, it feels like I've been pregnant forever. The joys of showing immediately.

18 weeks
I can't believe how far we've come. It feels like the days and weeks crawl by, but here were are... 18 weeks. Such a miracle, I wasn't supposed to be able to even conceive, let alone thinking anything beyond that. I know I've said it before, but I'm saying it again, I feel blessed.
I wish I had been taking measurements of my "waist" although as quickly as I popped out, I wouldn't have had a good baseline measurement anyhow. I love this little Peanut and I cannot wait to meet her, even her siblings are very excited. Every time grandma sees me she points out that I'm pregnant because I am so big already. It's crazy!
| I can't believe how big I am! |
I catch myself thinking ahead. Imagining this little ones first birthday and knowing that this will be the first grand baby not to have the traditional "first birthday cake" by great grandma. It's bittersweet, but I am hoping my mom will pick up the tradition and do the same for this little one and eventually her own great grand babies. I never thought I'd have a grand baby that Grams wouldn't see, I miss her and love her tons.
Okay, on that note, only 2 weeks until our level II ultrasound at which I hope to get a ton more pics and to hear only good news!

17 weeks
Okay, this is not our typical belly picture. I haven't put too much thought into posting another aside from this one, I'm rather partial to this one.
This is my baby girl EmmaLeigh (6) posing with her sister to be after decorating my baby bump.
On a less exciting note, I begin the 17p shots this week to help prevent PTL. Emma was born at just about 35 weeks. <3

16 weeks!
Once again a day early but Sunday is just so much easier to be all, accomplishment oriented, than Monday. 16 weeks... seems well, I don't know, it seems like a milestone. Although I am still counting down the days to 20 weeks and then to having Peanut.::sigh::
So here is this weeks baby belly pic
I can't believe how big I am, I feel so much further along than 16 weeks... lol I seem torn today. I'll get another recording of Peanut's heartbeat soon and post that, but right now, it's feeling like nap time.
Did I mention I can't wait to meet this little one?

Okay, it's kind of cheesy, but...
I made a collage of tummy pics so far. They certainly aren't uniform, I've had to take most of them myself, but they're getting there. Oh and the text that tells how far along I am seems to have disappeared on some of them once they were in the collage. (I need to find a better software.) They are in order, the first one was 5 days after the positive pregnancy test. I thought I'd have more time to get the "control" shot... but I was wrong.
I didn't think I was getting bigger, until I looked at this. I am a LOT bigger now than I was at even 8 weeks. Oh and obviously the 14 weeks and 15 weeks are only place holders. :)
| Not great, but it's what I have so far. |
